Can I get a baby loss certificate for a termination?

I have seen these are available but it stated TFMR? Can I get a certificate if it was for other reasons ? It’s very complicated but was a loss and I continue to grieve

I had a similar situation OP. Sending you hugs. I have thought about counselling too. It was many years ago but I always carry that little lost one with me. Precious few people acknowledged the grief.

I had a secret termination when I was a teenager and although it probably was the right thing to do and was my choice ( although it was also the only option) I have had a sense of loss and sadness for a long time. I didn't even get to see the scan ( which does make sense as it would be traumatic). I was also thinking about a certificate. All I had was the discharge sheet.

Hugs OP and anyone else who's been in a similar position. I have too. I've blocked it so much I don't even know what year it was so couldn't get a certificate. But it's nice to know I could.

I've just ordered my 5 certificates.. wasn't bothered about them before but having a loss at the moment it's all so fresh so decided to order them.
They only need minimal details.

With regards to your scan photo there are some people who do beautiful watercolours of scan photos. If you look at em_baby art on Instagram she might be able to help.
