Is a robot vacuum worth it?

i see there’s a cheap one on prime.
can I ask- do they move from room to room or just stay in one room?
do they move through chairs legs/under tables etc?
how much of a difference do they really make?

With the Eufy 10 can you put it in different levels and it will just set off and clean that level (our downstairs has a step in the hall!).
re mopping, does it know not to mop carpet?!

I really want one that steams and vacumms. Is that even a thing? My kitchen is shiny white tiles so a normal mop just leaves marks everywhere

I have one on each floor, best thing I ever bought but they won't do stairs.

In theory the one downstairs will mop, but you have to change the bits for it to do that so I just leave it as a hoover only to do all the rooms.

They go under my sofas, my kitchen dresser etc.., to places I would have to pull out furniture to get at but are a bit rubbish navigating around chairs at the table.
