Is it worth going to Lanzarote for 3 nights?

So basically me and my partner had planned to go to Manchester in December for two nights for the Xmas markets.
We have booked (free cancellation ) Friday and Saturday night which is costing £340 for both nights.
I'm itching for some sun and just found myself on Ryanair and booking.com

I've found a apartment in Lanzarote for £220 for 3 nights (Friday -Monday )
So £120 cheaper than Manchester for two nights.
The flights are £140 return for the both of us
Friday 2pm flight arrives Lanzarote for half 6
Monday 8 am flight -back to Manchester for mid day.

Would you do it ?
Gives us two full days in Lanzarote
Bit of sun etc

Or too far to travel ?

I like Manchester. I live in Manchester. It’s a great place. Is it Lanzarote? No.

Go to Lanzarote.

Absolutely go. As a pp said, you won't be wishing you were in Manchester when you're chilling in the sunshine.
I love a quick few days away and am doing Friday morning to Sunday night in Tenerife in December.
