Should I hire a cleaner?

There are some household chores I don’t mind doing whatsoever, almost find it therapeutic (laundry being one of them - how strange?!), however there are other parts I completely and utterly dread.

Bathrooms seem to need cleaning so damn regularly (toilets, sink collects dust overnight and taps go all limescaly & the shower tray seems to get dirty quickly - although mainly because DP doesn’t wash away the soap on the tray so it sets onto the tray overnight).

Changing sheets/making beds I’m fine with. Fine with hoovering but HATE mopping (shiny floor tiles downstairs means it needs mopping a lot to get rid of streaks).

Laundry I’m ok with. Windows I hate (kids constantly putting their hands all over the bifold door and the mirrors).

I’d love to hire a cleaner to mop, clean bathrooms and go over mirrors/windows once a week but then I wonder if it will actually make a big difference or if I could somehow manage doing it better by myself.

DP works full time and beyond and I work part time.

Absolutely yes.

When I was out at work, it was the best £20 a week I ever spent.

Clearly there are people who can't afford it / prefer to use money elsewhere, but for me it put a smile on my face EVERY week I walked into the house after she had been, so was something I would definitely prioritise money for if it can possibly be found.
