New job - what do you do and do you love it?

I am in a total job rut and I just don’t know what to do.
I currently work for an LA in an extremely challenging public facing role.
I have a caseload of nearly 300 and I am so stressed and anxious sometimes I just open my laptop and cry.
I moved from one LA to another at the start of the year hoping that things would be better here because their team structure seems to be better but I was hugely mistaken. The problem is that I don’t know what else I can/ want to do.
My background is within education / working with young people which is my passion. I need to earn a minimum of 45k.

Id be open to changing sectors and giving something else a go. I have a degree in law and psychology.

so my question is - what do you do and do you love it?

Child psychologist and yes. I give my job 10/10 honestly.

Interesting! Thank you! What exactly does your role involve? Do you have a doctorate?
I have been considering doing a conversion course and training to be an Ed Psy because I work closely with them and think I’d enjoy it / be good at it.

Yes I’ve got a doctorate. I’m a clinical psychologist, but there’s a lot of overlap with EPs. I see kids and teenagers, usually 1:1 in the clinic but sometimes with parents too. It’s massively varied, very rewarding, and often fun!

There’s so much demand for child therapy. If I was going to retrain later in life I would prob just go for counsellor/CBT therapist as the training is shorter and the pay difference isn’t that big really.
