How to get rid of baby items

We are trying to get rid of all our baby stuff as DC3 is outgrowing it. What’s the best way? Will give some to charity but it is a lot of stuff so would be good to make a little back to buy some older toys… Vinted, FB marketplace, EBay? Anyone has success or can share some tips?

Depends how expensive the items were are to buy new, what condition they are in and how much spare time you have.
I use vinted to buy items as it's cheap - but there's so much (literally) rubbish on there.
Only decent items (expensive labels) raise any money many clothes items are £1-£2 which is good for me buying nursery clothes.
I don't sell because my time is worth more to me than £1-2.
If your items are good quality and in good condition you can usually get 50% of the cost back by selling.
I don't do FB so couldn't comment on that.

If you've used the items with 3 babies I would think it's had most of its life, if it's clothing then charity shops have rag-bags where textiles are recycled.

It’s sort of the opposite - we’ve been so lucky to be gifted things with each baby, so now a number of bits are barely used! Outfits worn a handful of times before they’ve been outgrown etc.

You'll probably get more money on eBay than Vinted but not much. In my experience people generally won't pay more than a third of the original value for most things.

I sold all my children's clothes etc on eBay, usually bundles of things. They all sold and I made decent money back.
Never sold on FB marketplace but I would give it a go.

Okay, thank you. EBay has recently abolished private sellers fees I think, so could be a good time to give it a go!

Olio is good for getting rid of stuff

I have been pleasantly surprised about FB Marketplace and have sold lots on there

Local FB selling pages were great for us, clothes in size+season bundles, small toys in bundles too, bigger items alone, what doesn't sell and can't be handed down, goes to charity.

Bundles seem to do well on vinted.

Well I sold my first item on Vinted 2hs after listing it! So that’s been great so far.
