Tipping in Turkey

We went to Turkey earlier this year and it was a fantastic holiday. We are luckily able to go again in only a few weeks! EEK! In the same hotel. If anyone is interested it is The Beachfront Hotel in Marmaris.
Holidays have been very sparce for us over the last few decades and I'm using some of the money from my small inheritance for this one. Just setting the scene as we are more comfortable now that the DC are adults but still not able to be silly with money.
I'm not an anxious person at all (I do have financial anxiety because of years on the breadline) but tipping fills me with dread!

How much?
Will what I give be offensive?

When we left last time I was quite unwell on the last few days and with the rushing to find a Dr/chemist we ran out of time and ability to get local cash. We did give small tips to everyone we met as we were leaving and at the reception, and left all our coins in our room for the cleaner. (Probably about £3)

I want to do it right this time.
The hotel is small and we are all inclusive this time.
I suppose I'm asking what is a reasonable tip.
What have others done?

I'm actually thinking that instead of leaving it till the last moment I'd like to give people their tip earlier. Maybe in local currency? I thought about 200tl which is about £5. I've read 10-15% but how does this work in this instance? Having 2 chef sons I'm also aware of the background staff who often get overlooked.

I remember babysitting for 3 families in one house once who's cars were worth more than my house at the time and they scrabbled around for change to give me the exact money rather than letting me have the £2 extra!!! (we were really struggling for money at the time. I don't want to be this person!

Any advice would be welcome.

At first I thought you were overthinking it.
In AI I would only tip the room cleaner.
In a restaurant you don't receive a bill so why would you tip, you probably wouldn't have money with you, I wouldn't.
Now I'm thinking about it, is that wrong?
When I was in Turkey the cleaner actually asked if we were planning on tipping could he have English money, so we left £30.
Hmm, I'm not going to be very helpful but you've given me something to think/worry about 😁

I'm so sorry! But you did make me laugh...
I think I'm overthinking it too..
But I was so embarrassed about leaving last time because of being poorly and rushed..and actually being the one who has been tipped/not tipped in the past in a poorly paying hotel job..

I don't want to be 'tight' and Turkey is struggling financially at the moment...50% inflation...
Googling says 100tl which is £2.50 ish..
Every time they bring me something?

So I thought £5 each..at the end of the stay?

Which would work out about £100 total for us.

I'm also aware that some people don't get a share the tips..
the toilet cleaner never stopped cleaning (I had a urine infection and saw lots of him when I was literally running into the loo every half hour!) and I was going to give him a small tip too but in the rush to leave I didn't see him..
