Looking to call the room I WFH in something more fun than "the office" - what do you call your rooms?

We're recent empty nesters, so I've nabbed one of our dds' rooms as my office. But I want to call it something a bit more fun/different than that and it's not really just "dd room" anymore either. Any ideas? What do you nickname your rooms?

I realise this is hardly a life and death situation, but I'd like to head off the [insert fun name] in the mornings, clutching my coffee

My office is the dungeon because there is naff all natural light in there.

DP sometimes refers to his office as 'the scriptorium'.

Mine is my craft room as well so I also call it that. I have to make sure my teams background is on for serious calls or they’ll see all my crafty bits around me !

I like the Study

Mine is a Harry Potter under the stairs office . I converted my under the stairs pantry into an office (had a someone build me a desk and small bookshelf) and that is literally what I call it 🤣 love my little space . (I have a small house so this was the only place I could fit an office with a door that was not our dining area or bedroom!)

Ours is the study. Makes me feel clever 😂

The Bored Room

It's our study / music room / hobby room/ office.

We have it instead of a sitting room and instead just use the open plan kitchen/dining/family room space only for "lounging"...

We call ours the cupboard 😂

The kids bought me a sign for my office door with ‘Machtzentrale’ on it (we’re in Germany). Machtzentrale literally means ‘centre of power’, sort of like headquarters, the place where it’s all going on. It fits rather well.

Ours is the "dark room" as that is what then toddler DD called it one day. It's a north facing box room and, given how much space we have in general around the house, bizarrely close to the neighbours so gets scarcely no natural light.

We call our office “the hole”

it’s actually a nice, cozy pleasant room. It doesn’t really deserve to be called the hole but we do it anyway.

Mine is the playroom, cos that's what it was when I had it built (extension) about 15 years ago.

It is mote of an all purpose general living room now, with a desk set up, bookcase, corner sofa and tv/games station.

The Boardroom

DH nicked the sign from a redundant one years ago so I stuck it on the door at the start of Covid. Better than The Dumping Ground it was before that.

We call it sickbay as it’s the spare room with a bed and next to the main bathroom so if one of us is ill we go onto the sickbay. My desk is in there and DH uses the actual office.
