Maybe Sunday night too.
I haven't had a holiday all year and this is my only opportunity.
I drive but don't fancy driving abroad. I like sea, drinking, smoking ( only on holiday) and heat.
Just me.
Looked at Nice because that's super easy. Flights still cheap but accommodation is still high season pricey where I want to be. Fancied Seville but that's stupid money.

And where quick and easy to go that one can think of please?

If you like smoking Turkey would be good, they swem to love it there.

I'm on my way home from a 4 day break in Malta... It's been lovely! Had an Airbnb in Sliema, the buses are brilliant and it's hot!

This. For a short notice few days, the biggest factor is decently priced flights at sensible times, this is the first step in shortlisting.

Then check that there's accommodation available in budget near to the destination airport. Also check the weather forecast and that you can get there easily so not miles from the airport with no bus service.

Somewhere on the Algarve would probably also be good. As well as looking at Skyscanner you could see what late package deals are available on BA, Jet2, Easyjet or Tui.

A Greek island like Corfu. Stay just outside the old town, there’s some lovely beaches. In the evenings you can visit the old town. Or Croatia, without a car you’re more limited with the beaches tho. Maybe split or Rovinj. Perfect clear sea.

i am just back from Palma and really loved it.

Barcelona would be fab for for a few days solo travel. Short flight. Short transfer. Fantastic public transport. Enough to do.. or just sit on La Rambla and people watch, having your few drinks. Gorgeous
