My phone hasn't rung once all day

Yes but they made up for it yesterday by chasing me to work today and tomorrow as the shirker is 'ill' again....

My husband rang me from Tesco to ask what type of duck to get.

Normal for me.
I reckon if I dropped dead at home it would take at least 4 or 5 days before anyone realised.

Why does this bother you, OP? Mine never rings, because it's permanently on silent, but I certainly never get any phone calls - thank God.
Sometimes I get messages, sometimes I don't. That's fine, because I don't want to be welded to my phone, and often leave it in another room, or on another floor.
I think you need to ask yourself why this concerns you, and assess what it us that you don't like about your own company, and a nice peaceful day.

@Cynic17 wow you've read a lot into this, when did I say most of what you have written?! I'm entirely happy in my own company, but I wasn't alone. I never said I was alone.
