Yorkshire wildlife park suitable for a 3 year old?

We will be staying at Sherwood center parcs for the full week soon and it will be my son's 3rd birthday in the middle of our trip. We are planning on going off site for a day out for his birthday and considering Yorkshire wildlife park. We would take his buggy which but is it really that huge and too much a long day out for a toddler? He would love the animals but hesitant about it being a really long day out as I am also pregnant so not feeling as fit as normal, is it manageable? How long would you say to get round the park with young kids?

We love sundown but visited last time we came to CP in March so just looking for something a bit different for his birthday around the CP area, any other suggestions very much welcome!

Not much to do apart from see animals. Prob a bit underwhelming for a toddler. And you absolutely will need the buggy...

Is there a Gulliver's kingdom near there? My nephews loved it there and I believe it's easy to navigate I think there is a few now, but I'm crap with directions

The layout is quite spread out, with large areas for the animals, so it's a fair walk to get round all of it - not unmanageable normally but might be tiring if you are pregnant or for a small child on foot.

Excellent park, though, and would highly recommend it.

Yes I was just looking at this earlier, he would love this but he's quite small so need to check his height to see if it would be worth it.

We love it there. It is big but fine with a buggy. Plenty of parks dotted about and a softplay inside the park included in your ticket. And lots of dinosaurs. I'd also recommend biking up to Sherwood Pines if you hire bikes at Centre Parcs.

I love Yorkshire wildlife park ( we actually got an annual pass last year!)
There's lots of pit stops along the way- soft play, cafes, restaurants, benches, adventure playground... It's not just all animals and definitely not underwhelming for little ones.
You'd definitely need a buggy for your LO as it can be quite tiring for a little person.
Lots of little boutiques and food options as you enter - definitely my favourite bit😂🫣

Its massive. Its a lot of walking. Several miles of walking! Even across the car park to the entrance.

The enclosures are massive, so it can be hard to see the animals.

Its a brilliant day out... but very tiring.

Think my nephews went from about three and are average heights, I've not been since I was a kid and there was only one Gulliver's kingdom

It is a lot of walking with no short cuts. We love it tho - it's really geared towards kids, even down to how they've laid out the toilets etc. Inside the park there's a great dinosaur bit (right by the entrance) and further on there's 3 decent sized outdoor playgrounds and an indoor soft play which is really nice, and looks onto the monkey enclosure, and then all the animals. We like the giraffes (conveniently near the toilets and a cafe..) and the different monkeys and the prairie dogs.
Outside the main park is also the Hive restaurant and soft play. You can pay to go into the soft play separate to the park, if you want a smaller day out, and it's suitable for a range of ages and reasonably priced and has lots of seats. One of the restaurants is also dinosaur themed with animatronic models in it - very over the top, but very well loved by kids!
