Creating a cook book

I want to put together a cook book with favourite recipes, instructions, maybe a photo for inspiration, a page for notes for each recipe, and then have at the back a mix of meal plans on rotation with a weekly shopping list of that meal plan, a page for ideas and inspiration to carry forward to the next cook book.

I was thinking I could put one together for a year that would also lean into the seasons and have a mix of tried and tested and new ones to try.

Sort of a way of tracking what I've made but also keeping on track with meal planning.

Hard back or soft back.

Does anyone know a website where you can make your own cookbook? UK based if it matters.

I'm not clear why you need a website?

I have a simple A4 folder which I've put lovely recipes I've found over decades. I think the oldest one is over 40, perhaps 45 years old.

I was thinking more A5 size.

Silly question but do you take the recipes out and put them back in when you use them?

You can buy A4 or A5 folders. You can use ordinary paper and laminate the sheets. Then if they get damp or sticky you just wipe them over.

you can also get it printed as a book. Try websites and companies that offer photo book printing as well. I know have seen cookbook templates there too.

Like @caringcarer , I take out the one I am using and put it in a polypocket, so I can wipe anything I might spill or splash on to it.

I think the thing with getting it printed as a book, means you can't tehn add to it as life goes on and you find new favourites.

I've no idea why I never thought about plastic pockets.

Need to find an A5 folder with sturdy pockets.
