Fix My Street!!

You can pop in your postcode and read all the issues that have been reported. My area beats all the Facebook group town complaints. Issues reported include:

  • a road sign that is not regulation size - he actually measured it - 5cms out!!!
  • A shopping trolley not returned to the supermarket
  • a fruit tree marginally hanging over a fence - and I mean marginally as there is a photo.
  • cyclists not using the cycle path - not sure how this will be fixed by the council. No issues on the actual path just unreasonable behaviour says the reporter.

If you are the type of person who loves to read unreasonable complaints then this is the place for you.
Ps yes I need a hobby. Might start one reporting on Fix My Street 😂

This is great.

Stinging nettles
Someone who has taken it upon themselves to put cones out in the road outside their house to unofficially reserve parking. I had noticed that a week or so ago, actually.

Icedlatteofdreams · 16/09/2024 19:20

You've made my evening.

TheBitchOfTheVicar · 16/09/2024 19:21

Someone has reported something that's been really fucking me off. I feel seen!

WhoUsesTypeWritersNEway · 16/09/2024 19:22

Ha this is great. Someone round the corner has said the streetlights are too bright and they’d like them dimmed. Someone else wants to know if they can claim an abandoned bike and give it to their wife! This will entertain me for a while

GalileoHumpkins · 16/09/2024 19:24

Extream (sic) mud
Streetlights like Blackpool illuminations.

PrincessFluffyPants · 16/09/2024 19:29

I live in a rural area and we have nothing, not even in the next village or the one along. I've been tracing my route to work (40 mile round trip) and finally found someone complaining about excess debris on the road following heavy rain. I never knew I could become so invested. Will definitely be out looking for trouble tomorrow morning when I walk the dog so I too can join in! Lucky council, brace yourselves!

TrickyTrifle · 16/09/2024 19:35

This is great - thanks OP!
Does reporting a resident's overgrown trees/hedges actually work though?

My favourite so far!

This is awesome. Fucking birth doctors.

I wonder what they did to upset so many van drivers.

TheOwlAndThePussycatCannotSwim · 16/09/2024 19:57

Where to begin?
The route across the front of my driveway has a lot of mud and the path is used by children going to school!Better send a team before the schools start next week.
Fallen lamppost
Rats
15 to 20 yobs

😂

TheOwlAndThePussycatCannotSwim · 16/09/2024 20:02

Drug users living in bushes

MangoAndLimeNandos · 16/09/2024 20:05

Oh I can’t wait, let’s go!

My predictions include dog poo and parking (legally) on a road close to the station.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 16/09/2024 20:21

"The pathway leading up to Regent Street is very DIMPLY lit!" Grin

CuloGrande · 16/09/2024 20:43

This is truly a gift.

a cyclist near me has taken it upon himself to report every bay parked car, overflowing bin, pothole and big hedge - complete with a selfie of himself and said complaint.

excellent.

my local fb group still has top notch drama too.

SqueezyCheesyPeasy · 16/09/2024 20:53

Someone reported a 'Dog walking alongside the M1 near Tibshelf services' back in April. Wonder if it's still there.

NoShirtNoShoesNoSheldon · 17/09/2024 19:16

@TheBitchOfTheVicar but what is it that’s been fucking you off? I feel the need to know!
