Is there any way of accessing free therapy 🙈
I'm aware the answer to this question is most likely no!
I suffer with a lot of anxiety following a traumatic experience in a previous relationship. I have had cbt twice, edmr therapy and counciling via talking therapy's.
Whilst having the therapy I feel so much better. I am a talker, and being able to talk through things is so helpful to me!
I still have to deal with the man who caused me the trauma as we have children and he is a huge trigger for me.
I just need some help with this anxiety. I want to talk instead of medicating.
Does anyone have any advice? Any podcasts or apps or helplines?

Sorry for being vague. There's obviously a backstory I won't bore you all with!

Do you have to deal with your ex? Can you communicate via a co parenting app for example.

Try your local domestic abuse organisation and see if there is any therapy. Try counselling colleges and therapy training centres to see if they have low cost clinics. Anxiety UK does affordable therapy if you're on a low income.

Other suggestions are fresh air and exercise. Try and get outside every day. Take a good multivitamin and magnesium supplement.

Try a meditation app such as headspace, but there are others. Cut down on caffeine and alcohol and try to eat well.

If you've experienced any kind of sexual abuse/assault, you can access free counselling through Rape Crisis.
