Stood up to someone being repeatedly disrespectful and put my foot down to people coming to my home and safe space when they ignore me!

I’ve done 3x 30 min walks this week, completed another driving lesson (not good for my nerves in the moment!! but will be a long term benefit and I get such a mood boost when the hour is done), and have done homemade lunches every day for work rather than buying expensive sandwiches.

Edited

So many !!!

Well done

Super successful

I bought a pop up/walk-in greenhouse last month to grow some salads and few little flowers over the winter. Even popping in for a few minutes to check on seedlings and pick the last of tomatoes is very calming.

Where did you get this from?

That is next on my list for my very run down garden xxxxxx

Went for a run in the sun today. Decided it would be far more beneficial to go very slow in the sunny patches to maximise my Vit D.

Walked every day usually with DH but one solo walk, played Call of Duty, had coffee with a friend and a friend came round to ours for dinner.

Today I am going into work an hour late. I have stayed up until 4am for the last three nights to hit a deadline of 9am this morning (which was nobody's fault and brought-about due to something happening and causing an emergency situation that none of my managers or team could have planned for) and finally submitted what was needed at 2am this morning.

I sent my manager a message telling him that this is what I was doing and set my alarm for later before going to bed.

That is super dedication

Hope you have a weekend full of treats lined up xxxx

Currently using the time between school run and a meeting i don't want to attend having a coffee and cruffin on the seafront. I would usually be rushing about to get back, but instead I'm going to join on teams on my phone

So dreamy 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Moved my body and been outside every day.

Go you

I have slowly put this in place since March this year

And oh my god the difference

I made the time to have fresh, nutritious lunches when working from home in a particularly busy period. It's all too easy to work through without a break, but thoroughly unhelpful for wellbeing.

Need to get back in this routine

Can make such a different can't it ??

This week I made a soup from my home grown tomato’s and peppers.
I’ve taken time every afternoon to check on my pumpkins, I’m growing them for my G/nephews to come round and pick.
I “renovated” an old tatty dolls house that I found for a couple of quid in a charity shop for G/nephew’s birthday present so he can put his little Mini Brands toys in it.
I did some loud cathartic shouty singing along to music whilst driving in the car.

rzb · 13/09/2024 17:00

@thisisasurvivor I've a colleague who marks a window in their calendar for a lunch break between 1130 and 2, and puts a half hour 'busy' slot in for lunch. They'll move lunch around within the window, but not beyond that. I keep meaning to adopt that approach, and never quite get round to it.

CassandraWebb · 13/09/2024 17:07

Read a comfort book from my childhood (chalet school) just because I needed to relax

Had a really sensible constructive conversation with my husband where we both agreed I should drop my hours at work because juggling full time work with a chronic condition is taking a toll on my physical and mental health

@loropianalover Have you booked your test yet? Mine is next week, eeek! I’m about to do another driving lesson, the last before my test argh!

Colleague bringing new issues into a meeting. Told him I'll pick these up next week as there's things I need to finish today. Felt like a boss!

The last time I had an actual lunch break was during the criminal court case for my ex

How sad

God I need to do this
