Shrek Adventure London for bold 4 year old??

I'm thinking of taking my 4 year old to this as our last day at home together before he starts school. I've read it's better suited to 6+ year olds but I haven't met anyone who's actually been. We live in London not far away from Waterloo so it wouldn't be a disastrous waste of time if it was too boring, but I wouldn't want it to be too frightening for him.

My son is a thrill seeker and loves fast roller coasters and spooky films etc so I'm hoping it would be suitable?

Anyone been?

It is fantastic, far better than the SeaLife centre but I think would be entirely lost on a 4 year old andits very dark in there.

It’s really scary. Lots of little ones had to be taken out when we went.

Ok, thanks. Why do you think it would be lost on a 4 year old out of interest? Is there a lot of talking / wordy bits?

Unless he really likes Shrek I'd give it a miss, it's not that scary, it is that boring...

You can find a few walkthroughs of it on YouTube (although there are loads of signs saying "no photos/filming")

They had minders in each room and an escape door for those that could not cope. That level of preparation indicates that it is too much for some. I agree also that it is probably above a 4 year old in terms of the words and the length of time in each section.

Mine was 5 when we went and he liked it
