Happynappy1 · 30/08/2024 22:44

For over a year now I’ve had recurring athletes foot I always make sure my feet are dry change my socks during the day if wearing them. I use the cream and the spray as directed it will go away and then a week or two later it will come back. I change my bedding and towels weekly and I’m also treating my husbands feet with spray Incase he’s getting it and passing it back to me. I’m just done with it coming back I’ve tried different types of cream or spray too.

Have you tired lamisil once terbenifine spray?

If you swim or gym have you stopped going barefoot?

Have you used and antifigal powder ins held and socks and rotate a pair with three days to dry out in between?

If you have you need to throw away all you shoes and socks and tights for both you and start again

Potassium permanganate foot soak is an old fashioned but anti fungal foot soak.

Speaks from bitter experience

I get it a lot in between my little toe. Sounds weird but I clean that area once a week with a wipe of nail varnish remover.

canasten to clear the fungal infection and cotton, bamboo or wool socks 👌

TheChosenTwo · 30/08/2024 22:51

Have you tried giving up sugar? Quite extreme (and certainly not something I practise myself!!) but I have a feeling I read once that yeasty/fungal infections thrive on a sugary diet.
This may need more investigation than my tipsy tired brain can recall! It’s possible I have imagined this entirely 🫣

Lamasil Once and follow the foot hygiene tips in a previous post. No sharing towels and no barefoot poolside or gym.

Thanks I’ve tried canasten as well as all the other brands I only have bamboo cotton or wool socks. My shoes get rotated to dry out and the shoes I have worn with out socks have been washed and sprayed with anti fungal. I’m going to have to see a foot doctor I think. It’s just rather annoying as I have a week or so where I’m all ok and then I can start to feel the itching.
