NHS priorities are a bit wonky?

I dislocated my finger a few weeks ago. Obviously is it was very painful and need to be put back, which it was. I have some ligament damage, which means 8 weeks on I can't fully straighten or bend it. However, I'm in very little pain and it's not stopping me doing anything I normally do. I've just had my 3rd consultants appointment and have so far had 5 sessions of hand therapy.

Contrast this to when I had plantar facsiitis in both feet at the same time, was in absolute agony, could barely go about my normal day, let alone do any exercise and I had to cry in GP's office before I even got a referral, then waited 6 months for an appointment and was discharged with a leaflet.

Now, I realise neither of these are life threatening and I daresay there are plenty of people in worse situations, but why is so much resource thrown at the finger, when my feet were actually affecting my life and health much more?

Ludicrous isn't it.

Hi - I know this is a very old post! I have plantar faciitis and I was thinking I wasn’t even going to bother with the gp and this has confirmed it! Do you have any treatment advice?
