Stones made from cremated ashes - thoughts?

I have my Dad's ashes in the UK, don't want to bury them in Germany where I live, was thinking about what to do with them: Saw this company which was on Shark Tank called Parting Stones, and they will take all the ashes and return them as about 40 stones. I like this idea as you could keep the stones, put them in a place he liked or even give them to friends who would like to have one. It costs 1.5 k which seems way expensive (was about 500 until their appearance on Shark tank as it is a start up company). Has anyone heard of this, and surely there must be a competitor company like this in the UK, since I don't think the process is that complicated.. any thoughts?

When you say stones do you mean jewellery type stones or pebbles?

Almost 6 years ago I used this company, I bought a bracelet and put a tiny bit of my DH ash's in it .
It looks like they don't sell them anymore but the do sell 'infused ' stones.

It has unfortunately lost the colouring on the front but that's because I have never taken it off in 6 years

I have heard once of a company that made ashes into something for jewellery, but only of a small part of ashes, not this 40 stones thing.

I'm from a country with more restrictive laws about the treatment of remains (scattering ashes not a thing; they must be buried within a cemetery). Probably for this reason, I have an instinctive recoil from the idea and it seems like a disrespectful treatment of remains to me.

I actually mean stones, not jewels. With the stones, the entire remains are turned into the stones.. I do like the idea of jewels as well but I am looking for something that uses all the ashes..

I'm living in Germany where ashes also have to be buried, hence it will have to be in the UK where I'm originally from.

My dad has something that looks a bit like a glass paperweight on his mantelpiece that has his ex partner's ashes in it.

I wouldn't want it, but each to their own. I'm sure a quick Google would get you some results of companies that will do this for you in the UK.

There's an Etsy seller who does this too and only costs £25 plus cost of shipping the ashes to her and the stones back.

thanks for replies. I have looked around but haven't seen any other companies apart from that one who take 100% of the ashes and actually do something with 100%, transforming it into something. All the others only take a teaspoon of it and incorporate it into an artwork etc. Nothing wrong with that but I want all of the ashes to be used...

My concern would be losing them. A piece of jewellery is distinctive. Is there a letter or symbol or one special stone may look very much like another stone from the local park for example to a child playing or even a cleaner. (Might not be your child, any friend or visitor).
