See a doctor. IBS can be treated. It could be ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, both also treatable but they need serious medical input.

I've had it for years, it can't be treated. The only thing that helps me is a hot water bottle. Stress is a huge trigger for a flare up for me

Yes, to managed and improve the acid reflux I did the acid free diet. That helped a lot. For the diarrhoea I've worked out my worst triggers and try as much to avoid. But it's a case of managing rather than curing.

IBS is normally lower digestive system and indigestion is upper digestive system. It may be you are looking at the wrong things.

Treating IBS is a long and slow process. Keep a food diary to track triggers, pay particular attention to FODMAPs, wheat, dairy, caffeine, alcohol. Change things slowly as changes can take 1-2 weeks

Buscopan helps with a lot of IBS symptoms, some people have success with fish oils, collagen, and many others things. Don't give up home.

I'm in the middle of an attack at the moment (I've had IBS for nigh on 30 years+). Stress and anxiety always were my triggers, although I think now that I've retired my diet has changed and I'm drinking far more coffee which I think has triggered this latest bout which has lasted about a week so far. Feels like period pains for want of a better expression.

I've taken to having turmeric lemon and ginger tea, hot water bottle when the discomfort is bad, and foods which are quite plain - grilled meat, steamed veg etc. Strangely I found when I lost weight following Slimming World I didn't have any attavks, or certainly nothing of any note. I've been lax with my diet, been eating too many biscuits and pastries which I don't think helps.
