Good Morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa in my kitchen spot, not nearly half as exciting as last Sunday 😥. Both kittens are watching something out of the kitchen window, after waking me up at a reasonable hour for breakfast & everyone else is still sleeping.

I'm off to a local music festival thing in a while, with two of my friends, and I think the girls are joining us for a while.

I might do a load of washing before we leave, & potter round for a couple of hours.

If we don't eat out, it'll be something from the freezer for tea, that's quick and easy. Followed by showers and probably an early one for me 💤.

We are going swimming shortly then will dip into Asda for stuff for a roast. Really looking forward to it, haven't had a roast in months and am planning on doing the full works.

May do a quick primark dash too as I really want to get my hands on some Beetlejuice Pajamas!

We had a busy day yesterday and have a busy day tomorrow so we’re having a slow day today.

I made pancakes for breakfast, then myself and DC just made smoothie bowls for a snack. When DS2 goes down for his nap soon I’ll clean up and put a wash on. DS1 out on his bike with his friend. Tidying the utility room, cleaning the bathroom and labelling school uniform is the plan for the rest of the day. DIY pizza for tea!

I'm still in my pjs but have managed to hang some washing out and clean the kitchen.
DP is out on a run DD20 is asleep band DD16 is watching Netflix in her room, DD9 playing in her room.
Shortly I'll get dressed and go for a browse around the shops.
Later on it's showers, tv and an early night

I’m feeling under the weather today, so DH took DC to Parkrun and DS1 will have complained the whole time no doubt.

No plans for this afternoon, we’ve just got back from holiday and having building work done so the house is chaos. I don’t enjoy pottering when it’s like this!

Quiet one today, as it's really windy. Slowish start as we were out last night to celebrate GCSE results. Load of washing on and general tidy up before an afternoon of tv sport, football at 2 followed by F1 on catch up.
I have no idea what is for tea yet, but it is a bank holiday weekend, so something easy and some wine as no work tomorrow

I'm please it's dry after getting soaked yesterday. Just back from volunteering at junior Parkrun. Late breakfast and then off to collect some clothes that I ordered online.
General house stuff this afternoon and then steak for dinner.

I am planning to do as little as possible yesterday as I’ve spent the last 2 days at Alton Towers with DD and her friend. They had an amazing time but as we live in the SE it was a lot of driving for me.

DD is also feeling under the weather today so we’ll just cozy up on the sofa this afternoon and watch the Sound of Music.

It's my birthday today! Went out for breakfast with Dh and Dd. Both Ds's busy with mates. We are off out for the day soon and dinner out later this evening 😁

Tired this morning ass we had a big day out yesterday and out for tea. Was great fun though.

Just picked up DS from his club and heading to in laws for lunch.

Quiet evening planned. Need to get uniforms and work clothes sorted. Not a bank holiday here in Scotland sadly

I'm only 4 days out of hospital for a severe infection so I'm still a bit wobbly. Had been feeling really sorry for myself yesterday and frustrated as I'm at the physically capable but fatigued by EVERYTHING stage in my recovery. I just want to be back to normal!
Usually on a weekend, DH and I go out for breakfast or coffee alone but I'm still a bit too poorly, so he made banana pancake stacks with loads of chopped fruit and maple syrup on them for me to eat in bed instead.
I'm very grateful for him this week.

Sorry for all of you having a hard time at the moment

We went on a lovely long dog walk this morning, have just eaten the leftovers of last night's Chinese, and settling down to binge some Lost, which I haven't seen since the first time around. It's very weird for me, as the the first episode was on the night I brought ds home from hospital - he turned 19 last week 😳
