I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot, while everyone else is sleeping. The only sound atm is the kitten's water fountain & the occasional noise from next door. Bllss 😊

I've just been scrolling back on All Points East's FB page to see when tickets were released but forgot to look when dates were announced 🙄

We have nothing at all planned for today really. Dd2's off to her friend's house for the afternoon so will probably be up shortly - she's a flapper getting ready for anything (no idea where she gets that from 🤔🤣). And dd1 has work to do for college so she'll be up soonish too I expect.

I want to clean the bathroom and downstairs loo & try to sort out the top of the stairs. That just leaves my bedroom to be cleared out, cleaned & then only the stuff I want put back then - I've gone round the whole house over summer deep cleaning & decluttering but homeless things have ended up in my room 🙄

I want a new craft project too but nothing's really appealing so I might look at yarn for the Taylor Swift cardigans the girls want 🤔

Dd1's meant to be cooking but hasn't defrosted the chicken she needs for the last 2 days so I suspect she won't be cooking tonight either so I'll look shortly & decide.

Good Morning .... Worked 6 till 9am. Not a huge delivery thank goodness.
Have Wilf coming home later. Till Thursday. Now catching up on Celeb Masterchef from last night!

@Elderflower14 how's Wilf doing? I haven't seen him post in a while (although could have missed one - I'm not on MN as much as I used to be!).

Still in PJs here! Watched a bit of telly and had a coffee.
Will head off to get dressed very shortly though, as I need to head out in about 40 minutes as I'm meeting a friend at the garden centre cafe for lunch.
No plans for the rest of the day. Might have a bath later, as I'm feeling a bit achy. I think I slept in a funny position.

Morning @lucysmam and everyone here. I'm working today and currently looking out at the wet streets of Glasgow. I'm on my tea break.
I hope dh and ds do something together today. I really hope.

It's ok our teens want to see their friends after spending best part of two weeks with us sharing a hotel room.

We know them well it's not like we have to be all airs and grazes and they hang out in front room.

I also, for the first time in my entire life, left the house tidy, check me with the adulting!

Wet morning here for us (it's been a while since we've had some proper rain to be fair)

We trudged off to swimming and then hit the bakery for fresh rolls so it will be bacon rolls for lunch and we returned our library books.

Nothing else planned for today. I need to post a package, there is a load of washing to do and the house needs a general clean. We're currently all just lazing about though.

May bake some cakes later as that keeps the older two occupied for a bit.

Not sure about dinner yet. Maybe fajitas as they are nice and easy.

Will try and find a film we can all agree on for this evening.

Very low key today but I think we all need it. Back to work on Tuesday for me and eldest starts secondary on Wednesday (the Y7 go in a week early!!)

Me and dh were babysitting the grandkids last night. Ds and dd in law were away to a concert and staying in a hotel. Had a lovely morning with the kids watching movies and playing/singing songs.

Will pop to Tesco later when they get home, then take ddog out a walk. Going to do some cleaning, then have a lazy evening in front of the TV, will look for a movie to watch.

Need to think of a quick easy dinner for tonight. Maybe fajitas?

I can't remember the name of the FB group but I used to see wilf popping up with his Percy pig stuff quite regular always made me smile haven't seen that for a while.

We live about half an hour from the peak district and popped there this morning breckfast and a go on the rides just having a nap now and some visiting this afternoon, simple but lovely times.

Having a restful day today.

Waitrose coming later with my shopping and I have TIM TAMS on my order. I am beyond excited. I love a Tim Tam. They are far superior to Penguins.

Sun is shining. We don't seem to have been bothered much by the latest weather warnings (apart from all the pears being blown from my pear tree)

Dentidt and bra shopping. Both hideously expensive!

I had an early start today as my car decided to die in the work garage yesterday so the battery was on charge all night. Turns out it was dead so my friends took me to get a new battery, installed it and I was able to leave the garage.
I need to get a bottle of wine and some beers to say thank you.

It's raining here - set in for the day with only the intensity varying!
We went out to a seafront pub for breakfast, but I missed the usual view, it was just too grey.
I am putting off trying to remove a stain from some navy suede sandals.

Busy one today. Twins have had driving lessons, DP at golf, DD2 at work, and 3rd wash of the day about to go on.

Volunteered at parkrun this morning then straight to circuits. Just out of shower, need to eat, drop off a Vinted parcel off and then going suit shopping with DS for 6th form. So that'll be cheap 😮‍💨.

Went early this morning to grab last missing bits for school uniforms. Going to empty both kids wardrobes to sort out what doesn’t fit anymore and fill up with their new stuff. DH going to take the kids out somewhere so I have peace sorting clothes.

My feet haven't touched the ground this with laundry and cleaning the upstairs of the house. Oh is off to the football shortly, dc and I will watch on the tv at home. Need to pop out and grab something for dinner but not sure what I fancy yet!

In a weird mood to be honest, a little down in the dumps but no idea why!

It's tipping it down here. DH and I needed to get a floating shelf for our bedroom so we were up early and had it bought and fitted by 10.30am, we also popped to see DBIL for a cuppa.

We were supposed to be going to the Day of Syn down our way but it's just too wet.

So we've swapped our weekend around, I am currently making a lovely roast pork dinner with all the trimmings for 4pm, I've invited some friends to join us. Later we'll watch a film or play a game and eat the Blackberry crumble DH has just made and have a cheeseboard for supper.

Then we'll go to where we wanted to go today, tomorrow.

So I'm on my 2nd glass of Nosecco and peeling carrots listening to Boom Light on the radio. Having a lovely day.
