Very loud music to help drown out the voices in my head saying f in hell I only cleaned this yesterday how did it get so filthy so quickly.

Also just lots of cloths and a spray bottle of 50/50 vinegar water mix with a squirt of washing up liquid.

Selective vision 😄 .

Also for the grooves and crevices a cocktail stick .

I use a scrub mommy in the kitchen and scrub daddy in the bathroom.

Ecover limescale remover is brilliant, spray it and leave for a bit and come back and rinse off, no strong smells.

For the floors I have a gtech and a eufy, to mop I use the flash power mop, it makes mopping floors so much easier and quicker.

Zoflora is good for general cleaning, I dilute a bit in a spray bottle and clean everything with that.

For wiping the kitchen surfaces I use the Swedish cloths, they can be used so many times and thrown in the washing machine for a quick clean.

For dishes I use the teenager, recycling management is handled by the pre-teen, everything else is shared.

Practically, we have a lightweight vacuum as I’m a bit wobbly, I use a mop that can have either wipes or a washable cloth attached, and use either washing up liquid or a cheap all purpose cleaner spray for just about everything else. Cloths are usually squares of old towels or old flannels that have been repurposed for cleaning.

Music is usually a must, but the thing that enables us to get the most done is by ganging up together and tackling a room as a group. We’re all ND and prone to side-quests, so being part of a cleaning squad means we’re much more likely to get the job done.

@MyOtherCarisAVauxhallZafira , I think I (cough) I think my friend could over look this if he is good at cleaning.

@FussyPud , it sounds like your family have got this nailed . It's good to see everyone is doing their bit, it makes it a lighter load for the whole household.

What do I use to help me clean? A husband. He does more than me and is more organised.....

Istilldontlikeolives · 23/08/2024 08:41

I’ve never heard of a scrub mommy. I use any cloth and washing up liquid or cif usually plus viakal for limescale.
