The price of co-operation of baby/toddler

Lighthearted! What is your babies price for their co-operation?

Currently my 9 month old will lie still and have their nappy changed if I give them an empty deodorant can to hold. Not any deodorant can though, has to be his dad's sure 72 hour deodorant can 😅.

Better than last week, last week it was all about the baby murdering plastic bag of plastic nappy sacks. Safe to say, there was no compliance and a lot of rolling and crawling away.

What price do your babies/toddlers impose for their co-operation?

Pre walking my ds's favourite place to sleep was on the rug holding the dog's tail. Wasn't worth the risk pulling them apart... Ds is now 20 and I still remember!! Have pic somewhere.. If ds crawled off it would be to her ddoggy bed!! Def wasn't my pfb can't you tell?

My very fussy toddler went through a period of eating only if I let her eat like the dog. She'd only eat when the dog was eating, next to the dog, out of a dog bowl on the floor.

It was such a battle to get her to eat that I just let it happen. She'd actually eat almost anything as long as it was under these conditions but if I tried to make her eat vaguely like a human, she'd refuse almost everything.

Dts did this. I just went with it in the end! They also reverted to crawling and carrying things around in their mouth copying the dog, they did grow out of it!

My 9 month old hates going in the car seat, will only let me strap him in if his older sister 7 will sing to him, no one else will do. Poor DD is usually playing or occupying herself (she's so good) happily, he's screaming whilst I'm attempting to strap him in and I'm like DD GET HERE NOW!! Sing to your brother SING SING SING!

Luckily we don't have a dog 😅 though he also will only eat at the moment if its what we're eating, from our plate, using our cutlery (lest we somehow trick him!). I'm currently eating many meals with a teaspoon 🙈 but otherwise can trick him a little bit by hiding his bowl behind mine and just feeding him his food using my spoon 🤣
