Snowed under with a never ending list of stuff to do. Anyone else

I have so much to do from small things housework and grocery shopping to massive things like decorating.
I feel so overwhelmed I've actually taken myself off to bed to blank it out. I never do this normally I'd burn myself into the ground and stay up all night catching up but there's so much I just don't know where to start.

Fwiw I'm usually so organised and make time to get stuff done. But 3 weeks of school holidays gone 3 more to go I'm just knackered.

I know what you mean. I've taken to writing lists setting out what needs to be done by when and also who's doing it. Have you got other people who can help?

Lists are your friend here.
break it down into daily tasks but make it achievable.
ie
Monday - shop, hoover downstairs, clean bathroom

Tuesday - take kids out, cut the grass

Wednesday - clean skirting boards, hoover upstairs. Visit family

you get the idea.

with the big tasks like decorating, also break that down into an ongoing list.
buy paint
book time off or arrange childcare so you can do it
choose carpet/wallpaper/furniture

Same. Life is just one task to the next and it all falls apart if you stop to think about it! I think the key is to add in fun tasks too. So, still stuff on the to do list, but enjoyable. Eg I literally have to schedule in family time, chill time, alone time. But then at least you get it, and can have the satisfaction of ticking it off your to do list 😄

I would echo what @Beautifulsunflowers said.

Make a list of all the tasks and break them down into do-able tasks each day.

Tackle the small, quick things first.

be ruthless with tidying and anything going to the tip or the charity shop - take it now - don't put it in a corner waiting or else you'll be looking at it and stressing about it.

Taking one room at a time is a good idea too.
