I'm allergic to the bites, it's been going on weeks.

I've got Indorex, a steam cleaner arriving tomorrow, and some sticky flea traps.

Anything else needed?

Do I vacuum before or after spraying?

How do I find the sodding time to vacuum a five bed house every day on top of work?? Any short cuts?

What did anyone who has had them do to get rid of them?

Help!

Do we need to wash all our clothing? Even that in drawers etc??

No but read up on the lifecycle of a flea. It will make you weep. Get the good stuff, best money you'll ever spend and your dog can come home too. He/She will need decent stuff from a vet

The steam cleaner arrived. Anyone got any flea clearing specific tips on that? Should I use it before or after Indorex? In combination with vacuuming?

Endless tumble drying of anything washable (duvets , rugs, towels, pet bedding). It cost a fortune but I think for us the duvets were the hiding places (gross). And also agree re spraying mattresses. Good luck.

Before. It will reduce the effect of the Indorex.

Once you have eradicated the fleas from your house - suggest you sign up with vets for regular treatment. The vets keep up with what's working and change it when needed. I say this having used Frontline+ a couple years back - still available online and doesn't work. Nightmare to get rid off.

I just wanted to point out that there is actually two kinds of flea treatment one kills the fleas when they bite and the other just stops them breeding. And they don’t tell you which is which on the packaging
