Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams

Did anyone watch this last night? I wasn't a big fan of Top Gear, but I watched the first series of this, and was impressed with Freddie Flintoff, and how committed he was to the young men involved in the team. I was touched by how many of them genuinely seemed concerned when they heard about his Top Gear accident in this programme. Must have taken a lot for him to take that on in the circumstances.

I think this is great. Freddie Flintoff seems genuinely invested in all the lads. Totally not a fan of Top Gear or cricket even but I think this is a great watch.

Absolutely fantastic, love it. Should be far more programmes like this instead of love island dross.

Very much enjoying watching this. Funny and touching. Great to see how the boys blossom under him and how it seems to be therapeutic for him after his horrific accident.

Absolutely loving this. I'm a big fan of Freddie and am finding it so moving hearing all of the boys' stories and seeing the young men they are growing into. Loved Ben, Adnam and Eli this week. Adnam and Eli are both so mature for their age and it is so refreshing to see how well they all communicate, the support between them and how the bonds are developing across the team. Really heartwarming stuff.

this is quality TV. the young men are learning so much about themselves and the wider world. adnam is so sweet and caring despite such trauma. the autistic lads show how autism is different for each of them.
so brave of freddie flintoff to come back to this project after his horrific accident and still invest in it.
his display of his own vulnerabilities are touching and i've always found him to be honest about his life and feelings (bulimia programme springs to mind).
i was slightly taken aback at the extent of his facial injuries at first as i hadn't seen any images before this but he still has a kindness to his face and i hope he can be an example for how we see the person for who they are and how they act and not how they look.

I loved how they all dealt with the issue of them not turning up on time. Freddy didnt shout, but just made his disappointment clear. The young men didn't sulk at being told off, accepted they'd made a mistake, and took it on board to learn from.

This is one of my favourite things the BBC has made. I love Freddie though, always have even through his cricketing days.

We’re watching this and I love it. I feel so sorry for those lads and all the others like them who have been let down.

I was so impressed by Sean this week. He made a cracking captain! Fantastic telly and hopefully the experience helps the young men go on to achieve great things in their lives.
