Did anyone actually enjoy the baby stage?

Based purely on my own circle of anecdotes, there doesn't seem to be many who did, said it was "boring" , preferring when child was a bit older and "had character" 😁
I, on the other hand, loved the newborn and baby stages.
For me, it was the easiest stage - they stayed where you left them, they didn't sass back and ask "why?" on a continuous loop!

What is/was your favourite stage of your child's development?

Newborns were the easiest. Bliss. Loved sitting, feeding, cuddling.

I loved every second. DS sneezed on the day he was born. I was so impressed.

Liked it till about 9 months then really not fan until about 3 and a half. Favourite age is 7-10 when they think you're ace and loving and happy to get involved. Teenagers after that as can be stressful and a bit of a rollercoaster but great company and funny.
Toddlers just no.
