I'm currently claiming universal credit with LCWRA
I have been offered a work from home job which is between 30-40 hours a week.
If I just get 30 hours I will only be better off by £50 a month
If 40 hours a week I would be better off by nearly £300
But because I have LCWRA I have a work allowance
So if I get 30 hours I will get around £600 uc
If I do 40 hours I will get around £450 uc

But if they review me then I'm assuming they will take off my LCWRA because they will say I can now cope with change (even tho I'm safe in my own house etc )
But if I didn't take the job then they review me and I loose my LCWRA anyway I would have only £600 ish a month UC which I could not live on.
What do I do ?

No one can tell you for sure, but in your position I'd take the job. There's no guarantee either way on your lcwra and working will give you a more reliable and higher income. But I'd try hard to live on just the amount of income I'd have overall if I were found fit for work, and put the extra into savings. That way it won't come as a financial shock if you are found fit for work.

Take the 30 hours and get the £600, if I’m reading this correctly. It will help you get back on your feet. Best of luck!

Well this is it
LCWRA can be taken away at any minute
The job means I deffo have money to pay my bills etc
At the minute I dread the postman coming incase it's a review form

Run it past your work coach. But it sounds like the 30 hours will leave you better off.

Yeah at the minute I would still get the £600 till re assessment

@Bumblingidiot I don't have one unfortunately
Since my Assesment 5 years ago they haven't been in touch at all

If you think you are at risk of losing LCWRA then take the job for 30 hours, you don’t want to be the position of only having £600 per month to live off.
