Parenting with Covid in the school holidays. Feels different to a normal cold.

The fatigue. I can only manage sit down games (which last 3 mins). Can't taste much and lost appetite so cooking is hard. Heavy chest.

Even felt teary today. Hoping the line will continue to fade.

It will pass. Just needed to rant.

Mate I hear you.

I'm a single parent. Managed to send DC to dad's for an extra day and nearly cried with relief.

It’s given me anxiety and PTSD, probably from when I was hospitalised with pneumonia.

I can cope with a cold but this feels different. Have been reading that scientists have recently made links between pathogens and mood?

Same here, I made a post in the last day or so to have a similar moan.

these school holidays have been rubbish one or another and now I’ve got covid on top. Didn’t feel to bad at all but today the tiredness and feeling lightheaded is hitting. I want to shower but last time I tried that with covid I passed out so probably not a good idea alone in the house with just kids.

i already suffer with anxiety and yesterday it really ramped up like it always does after a couple of days of illness.

hoping to see a negative test soon.
