Self catering holiday planning help

Hello!

I need your help, please. I'm going on a two week holiday soon, self catering. Have never done longer than a week, but have been SC many, many times.

Here's what I need help with... I tend to overplan packing/food/cleaning and get myself very stressed and inevitably end up arguing with my DH before we go. I don't want that this time!

Please can I ask for any top tips you have for making preparing easier, and more holidayish. Any quick and easy meals you always make on hols? I generally plan loads of meals and take half the kitchen! We like cooking so that bit isn't the issue, my husband mostly cooks at home so I'm happy to do more when away!

It's just the two of us and we are staying in cottage with all the usual bits and bobs. Thank you.

My fave tip is to order shopping to be delivered there - approx an hour after you arrive. This saves trying to fit it all into the car or having to find somewhere once you've arrived.
For two weeks I'd also plan a top up delivery half way through. Enjoy 😊

In the uk?
Do you enjoy cooking and spending time in the kitchen or are you looking for suggestions requiring minimal effort?

Sorry should have read post properly! You're happy to spend time in the kitchen.
I think tray bakes work well when SC. Adaptable and don't require too many pots and pans.
Also, not sure what plans are for lunches, it can be nice to have meals which can also provide the next day's lunch. A roast chicken or piece of gammon is ideal. Also some thing like a fritata or quiche that could be eaten cold the next day.
Are you going anywhere with famous/really good local produce? If so I'd use that where possible. If you're on the coast linguine with crab, chilli and garlic is a must.
