I only got this quickly because of the clue from @thaegumathteth on @PuttingDownRoots post or I wouldn’t have made this leap. I’ve had quite a good week in getting there with fewer clues but my numbers are always higher than everyone else’s! I go too varied at the beginning with my seed words I think.

@StopInhalingRevels i only found this around a month or so ago and I have noticed how my lateral thinking has improved since I’ve started playing - it’s highly addictive! I still over rely on synonyms I think but that’s getting better too.

I haven't used synonyms yet. But only got yesterday's because of the clues on here, and todays - pure chance. I'm hoping this acts as a brain training exercise for me too.

I have days I do it in under 10, and days where its 200+!! My record is 3 guesses, which I've done about 5 times. (Including the day I went 998, 999, 1000!). Its a mixture of skill, practice and a lot of luck.

I think I've had an unlucky run of words recently that aren't good with the seed words I use.
I also tend to focus on a hit word too early I think.
