The flavoured Yorkshire tea bags

Just doing my online Tesco shop and I'm tempted by the Yorkshire Tea 'toast & jam' teabags. Thing is though, I hate fruit and herbal teas. So is it more like them, or simply a normal teabag with a very slight fruity taste (and to which you can add milk)?
There's also the malted biscuit ones Smile
Thoughts please?

Biscuit tea is the best one. Its amazing

MasterOfOne · 04/08/2024 22:28

So bedtime reminds me a little like a very mild chai... well when I add the cinnamon.

I don't like herbal teas. It's not terrible. I think the trick is not to flood it with hot water or too much milk.

I wish they made sample packs so you didn't have to commit to a full pack 😒

The biscuit brew ones, smell amazing. But they are very weak. Which is a shame.

The biscuit one is pretty underwhelming, I wouldn't recommend.

I was very disappointed. I’d had Bird and Blend before and hoped they were a more affordable version of them but no, they have an artificial taste. Im sad to say I binned them.

I am a very big fan of the biscuit one, didn't like the toast and jam. But, opened a pack of caramelised biscuit today and that's like you've dunked a lotus biscoff, I'm not sure about it yet... (found in morrisons last week)

JMSA · 04/08/2024 22:51

I'll try both tomorrow and report back!
Thanks for your input everyone.

Aldi do a Jaffa cake one but not sure what they are like as I haven’t dared yet.

They're OK, they taste quite subtle.

Strawberriesandpimms · 05/08/2024 06:54

The biscuit one is not naice 🤮

Ive never seen these flavoured yorkshire teas! Im in Scotland maybe they havent crossed the border yet! We have the normal Yorkshire and the decaff too at home. Lovely tea.

I drink the bedtime one most nights. It's fabulous, just a bit of milk. Really makes me sleepy.

ooh could you post a link?

Attictroll · 05/08/2024 07:46

Biscuit one is lovely and Aldi do a good dupe I now buy.

Civilservant · 05/08/2024 07:48

The toast and jam one iis v much like the ‘fruit infusion’ ‘herbal’ teas. You’ve said you dislike those types of teas so probably won’t like it. I do, but much prefer the ‘toast’ one. It’s sweet and malty.

PurpleWhirple · 05/08/2024 07:51

Biscuit and bedtime ones for me, not a fan of the jam and toast

Summerhillsquare · 05/08/2024 07:56

I've now bought the M&S shortbread flavoured one. Not tried it yet but excited 😆

PurpleChrayn · 05/08/2024 07:56

They're delicious. I'm never without a pack of each.

@ssd Tesco has them in my section of southwest Scotland.

I haven’t tried them because I don’t like black tea and prefer herbal teas or infusions.

Redruby2020 · 05/08/2024 08:05

I haven't seen the Tesco one, but the biscuit one from Aldi is nice.

DH loves the toast and jam flavour. He says it tastes like jammy dodgers dipped in tea.
