Do you still have DVDs, cassettes or videos in the house, and if you do, can you still play them? There is a revival of records and record players in my friendship group (born mid 80s and now cost a fortune!) soo wish we didn’t send all the old records to the tip/charity as they sound great on the record player. What do you still use or miss from growing up?

None of them we can stream and cast from iPad and phones, music and all the tv shows.

Vinyl I understand because they are artworks but we don't have a record player yet.

The vinyl covers are amazing, such a waste most people binned them!

I still have shelves of DVDs and CDs.

I like to have physical copies of things. I can’t explain why.

The poor sound/picture quality on anything we had kept rendered them unusable. I'd much rather stream a digitally remastered version.

Realistically, unless you're a collector, all of your old records would be scratched to bits by now if you'd kept them.

We still have a bunch of disney classics, other classics kids films and a couple of me and dh’s favourite comfort films on dvd and we still play them.

Stuff gets deleted off streaming services, I don’t want to pay for all 20 million of them that are on the go now and it’s just nice having physical copies of my favourite things

I also think we still have video tapes and a vcr somewhere but it’s not been used in years

Yep we have some. As said, we want to choose to watch certain films, listen to certain music, not be restricted to what the streaming service chooses to allow us to consume.
