I know they are super expensive for bags to contain dirty washing, but I need to replace my current bags. I have two 45l bags - one for dark washing and one for whites. Anything else (mostly woolens and 'lights') just gets chucked next to them. The 45l bag full is a complete load.

The JJ Tota bags are 30l (trio) and 45l (duo). Common sense tells me that that the 30l bags will be too small to hold a full load of washing (8kg machine), and yet the Amazon reviews claim they are just the right size for a full load.

Anyone have this system? Is it worth the outlay, and do you find the 30l bags too small to hold a full load?

We have 2 90litre Totas and they are great. A full bag just about gets into our 9kg washing machine. The smaller bag would easily fit - if I cram the 45 litre bag in to my machine, it’s probably over full.

We have 3 90l bags, one per bedroom, and I would say each one fits two or three loads, or even four (depending on how full you stuff it in).
So I agree 30 might be on the smaller side if it is loosely full, but just right if crammed full.

Thank you both. I think that's a good point about how full the bags are - I can fit a crammed 45l bag into my machine, but it's probably too much. A crammed 30l bag might be better if they're strong enough to last.
