Who was this woman? It's driving me potty.

I saw her at Stansted airport a couple of weeks ago, so no idea what area of the Uk she lives, but I'm pretty sure she's English.

I recognise her from the telly. Probably around 60. Slim. Nice looking. Not a huge household name but definitely recognisable. Auburn hair, collar/shoulder length. It might have been dyed, but I feel she's probably a natural redhead. A bit freckly.

I think she's maybe been in some long running show like Emmerdale or Holby or something like that. But equally she could be a presenter. It's really bugging me that I can't place her.

That actress died several years ago.

No, not her, but very similar looking. And a bit older I'd say.

I know, right? We need to form a support group. I keep expecting to wake up at 3am and go 'Fuck yes! It's so and so!'

It happened to me! Nice man sitting opposite me on train. I knew him but couldn't place him. Needed to make a note of something. Didn't have a pen. His was on the table so I asked if I could borrow it and he nodded. Pressed too hard and broke the point - it was a fancy pencil! I was mortified but he was very gracious and said it didn't matter. Couldn't for the life of me think who he was. Then two days later it came to me - Tony Hawkes, the comedian.
