I love it, and that church is absolutely amazing. The neighbours wouldn't bother me at all - I'd probably stand there and chat to them over the fence.

Absolutely fucking not. I’ve just jumped because the house is having its creaky cool down 30 minutes and DP is snoozing… right next to me.

I used to live next to a church and grave yard when I was a teenager/up until I moved out. It didn’t bother me at all. It was a bit weird when we came home and there was a burial going on just the other side of the low wall though.

I would genuinely have no issue with a graveyard next door

The downstairs bathroom would bother me more than the graveyard.

Oh yes! Would have to check about bell ringing though, church bells can be very very loud!!!

But you might want to be careful not to hold a BBQ if a burial was going on…. That could be a tad awkward.

Wouldn't bother me at all. What a lovely house. So much character and charm. I could totally see myself living there.

I'd enjoy being by a graveyard - I find them peaceful places, particularly when the graves are old and weathered, giving a sense of perspective on whatever I might be fretting about - a reminder that in 100 years' time neither I nor my worries will be of any consequence at all.

However, if I were to pay £300k for a 2-bed cottage, with the additional hassle of it being listed, I would want beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and a twisty staircase to bang my head on - so it's a 'no' from me because the interior hasn't enough character.

I'd love to live there

Infinitely preferable to some of the neighbours I’ve had.
