Old Church converted to residential - graves

There's a (guessing) c. 14thC chuch near that was converted to residential in the 1970s. I hasn't been done well, which is a shame because it could have been beautiful.

I've always wondered, the graveyard is still there, will that effectively be the garden of the house now and the owners own the graves? Are they responsible for the graves or is that someone else?

I imagine if the graves are within the bounds of the property, they are the responsibility of the owner but there will likely be codicils in the paperwork about leaving the stones intact until a certain date etc.

Graves are always the responsibility of the owner/family. They would never be the responsibility of the homeowner.

The churchyard is likely still to be in the ownership of the church.
