What are you doing with your 11-14 year olds these holidays?

What a tricky age. They don't want to do anything (well not cheap / free stuff) anymore. A couple of years ago they'd be happy with a couple of hours at the beach / park with an ice cream or a few hours swimming, but not anymore.
I don't want them spending 6 weeks on devices and we can't afford paid days out everyday. We live in the sticks with no public transport so spontaneous meet ups with friends don't happen and they don't like pre-arranged 'play dates' at this age (which I understand).
All ideas welcome!

Following. Dd's 13 & 11. Dd1 had some issues with friends just before they broke up and is generally rubbish at organising things so feeling this holiday will be tricky. Dd2 is starting high school so we do have summer school but that is last week of August. We are away for a week. Dd2 does kayaking weekly which runs through summer.

Our local leisure centre has swimming passed for £20 each for the whole summer, debating if it's worthwhile. Otherwise we have minimal plans.

We do have a bowling alley recently opened which has table tennis for £6 for half an hour per table and pool tables £1 a go. Which is an OK rainy day plan.
