Giovani refers to Amanda Abingdon as mad

The bbc has reported that on stage in Manchester today Giovani said "let's see what this mad woman says next" and then promised to be back to cheers from his audience.
He did not actually say Amanda's name but it is clear who he meant.
If her accusations are proven (which seems likely given other women coming forward) then presumably he has just opened himself up to a claim for defamation.

SCD are losing core fans. My parents who are in their 70s have said that they wouldn’t watch it again. At some point it stopped being a bit of light entertainment for the kids and OAPs and has become something associated with abuse, misogyny, coverups and hate. I will turn off if I see/hear Anton or one of the others on any TV or radio show.

Thats bloody horrible as well. I think some people get off on the power.

I agree. It's disappointing about Giovanni but Anton has definitely had his day. Lovely to watch him dance but don't want to listen to him.

I stopped watching after they dropped Arlene Philips . This woman is a legend and they her treated with zero respect.

Still shocked at the behaviour of some of the dancers and wonder how much Claudia and Tess knew about what was going on…

TBF it shouldn't be hard to predict and think about the last two things, particularly the timing/timeframe of the job.
Obviously no one should be pressured to dress/look more sexy though.

They don't have to comply with her SAR if it contains someone else's personal data and that person does not consent.

That's what she means by Giovanni not giving permission for her and her lawyers to review it.

BBC once again proving they will stand by and protect an abuser and try to sweep it all under the carpet. Not only should strictly be axed but the BBC also needs shutting down.
