What type of gym does everyone go to?

I have started going to the gym at my local leisure centre having not been for over ten years (!) I am surprised at how different it is as in very quiet, lots of older people, none of the school mums that used to do the 10am slot. Where is everybody going? Are they at Pure Gym type places where’s it’s cheaper, more modern, younger?

Well how lucky for you that a man has never tried to intimidate you in a gym...

Family fitness.

I go to a gym at the local council leisure centre.

I see a lot of older people when I go, but I think part of that’s probably the time of day I’m going at.

Independent gym with mostly weights. There are a couple of treadmills, one rowing machine and one stairmaster but that’s it re cardio equipment.
There are no staff so it’s often completely empty, just a pin code to get in.
