What pet would you love to have, but don’t have the patience for?

Parrots, or birds in general. I love birds but I just don’t have the time, patience and experience for.

It’s a long commitment pet that require a lot of dedicated care.

Would love a horse again but my knowledge and experience is well out of date and I have neither the time nor the money.

The gecko and dog are quite enough!

Same as you, a bird of some sort. I adore birds but I know they're a big commitment and we already have a fecking menagerie.

I've just adopted some internet birds via watching them on YouTube. Apollo the African Grey is a particular favourite.

Pygmy goats, but I gather you need a 9ft electrified razor wire fence with a watch tower to keep those buggers in. A lurcher or whippet- or any other kind of dog, really. Chickens.

Think I'll stick with cats- they have to be the most low maintenance pet there is.

I think it depends on birds. Budgies for example aren't that hard to look after and will pretty much amuse themselves if you give them some stuff to play with. They are smart but can't do that much damage.

Something like a grey parrot though has intelligence and comes equipped ready to wreck your house if you don't keep it entertained.

A dog. Not a big one. Maybe two small ones. My family has norfolks and a mini dachshund, they're really cute but lively.
I think I'd like a rescue greyhound or whippet. I guess they're not small but they're so beautiful and graceful looking. But yeah, way too much responsibility.
I love the idea of ferrets but I think they might be a bit mental and high maintenance?!
Rabbits are really cute but really, really hard to care for. So even if I had the time and energy I wouldn't have a bunny again.
Chickens? But they'd almost certainly be eaten by foxes. Plus I don't have the space.

Would love a small-holding with farm animals but I think it’s probably a lot more work than I anticipate!

My DD wants an aquarium with exotic fish, not that we don’t have the patience but a murderous cat who wouldn’t be able to restrain himself.

I also want a small holding with lots of lovely animals to cuddle but not to kill off.

I really really want a bird of prey. I have a vision of myself that involves falconry and medieval dresses and a highland pony.

Pygmy goat but I couldn't be dealing with them escaping everywhere
