Legoland experts - can you help me plan our day?

I'm planning to take DD to Legoland next week. She is 7 and has loved the few theme park style rides she's been on.

I've read a few threads and gather that the rides are generally very tame at LL but I wonder if anyone in the know can help me plan a list of the most exciting rides and maybe an order to do them in to make the most of our day. We would definitely want to do the best rollercoasters and similar. I don't like rides that rotate. Will I be able to queue with DD but then let her go on any of these on her own?

DD has never been to a big theme park so I think the long queues are going to be a bit of a surprise for her but I definitely can't afford the £90 fast passes. Money is tight at the moment so even the £40 each passes are beyond me really. Is the £25 'regular' fast pass worth adding?

I've read the tip to start at the far end of the park so we'll definitely do this. We'll be taking a picnic. I'm assuming the rides all have somewhere to leave a bag.

We've always been on a standard ticket and done all the rides we wanted to. Getting there early and staying til the end helps as it is quieter - lots of toddlers and younger kids start going home around 3.

I don't think you need a specific plan, it's not that big. Flight of the Sky Lion is usually the biggest queue and we go there first. The fire engine ride isn't worth the queue but do it at the end of the day along with Coastguard HQ and the driving school - queues there are big until later.

You'd definitely be able to queue and let her go on, but only on the rides she's big enough to go on alone. My massive 8 year old can ride most of them alone (while one of us goes with his smaller sister) but you'll need to compare her height to the restrictions on the rides.

Download the app - it gives real time queue info.

Definitely download the app, you can shortlist all the rides you want and tick them off as you go. It creates a personalised map which shows the rides you haven't done yet as well as queue times and alerts for shows etc. You add info about your child (IE height) and it only shows the rides you can go on. It's so useful.

Take spare clothes and a towel for after the splash park. Food is pretty extortionate but you can take a packed lunch.

I think the regular ones are still worth it - they are they the ones that don't shorten the queue just make it virtual? You still save time as you can book in as soon as you check in for previous ride.

So the time you are on the ride and walking is saved - especially if you then go to something like the mini land (?) in that time.
