Henry don't make hoover

Part of my job at Dyson (I've now left) was comparing the performance (suction, maneuverability etc) and the engineering and durability of Dysons with other brands.

Shark came out top. EVERY TIME. Others did better than Dyson but Shark was way ahead. I'd go for that.

Also James is a tit so don't give him your money 😅

Cordless Shark (strato) . Love it as does my DP- the house has never been vacuumed so much! And it folds away really easily and neatly so no problem to store

Had my Miele corded cylinder for over 10 years and still going strong. Would buy another if it ever does break

I had two Dysons previously they were very good for about a year and then they went to shit. I will never go back to a bagless vacuum as the whole idea is terrible. Far better keep all the dirt and dust away from the inner workings and replacing a bag once every month or two is no hassle whatsoever.

I have been using a Henry for about 5 years now and it has been impeccable.

After years of rubbish sharks and fusions I now have a hoover hl4 and it's the best hoover I have ever had! It cost me £140 from Argos!

The build quality of Dyson cleaners (especially the uprights) was appalling from the outset. I worked in electrical retail 1997 - 2002 and sold a great many Dysons. Good performance cleaners (and I particularly like the DC07 models), the but the plastic was truly awful.

The underside of the DC01 especially was bad, in fact if it wasn't for all the hype & drama about Dyson during the late 1990s, I don't think we'd have sold any, certainly not based on the quality at any rate.
