Go to bed at 9, start reading. Not even a new book. I've read it before. Can't put it it down. Look at the clock, 1:30am. Baby up at 5 (as usual!). Therefore I spend my day being exhausted and cursing myself that I didn't go to sleep, and repeat because I'll prob do it again tonight 😫

Well, sympathy, because I’m also that kind of reader who will suddenly discover it’s 3 am. Are you at work in the daytime, or can you shift some of your reading to nap times?

Oo I've helped myself with this one! I have a reading chair. I go upstairs, tuck myself into a super comfy chair in the window with a blanket and read for about half an hour. Then I force myself to go to bed and the book has to stay on the windowsill. At the beginning I essentially set an alarm saying GO TO BED OR YOU'LL REGRET IT TOMORROW. It's a habit like leaving my phone downstairs. If the phone comes up I'll be scrolling till midnight. If the book is in my bed it's impossible to put it down. If I was able to stay up late without being a grumpy ass the next day then fine, whatever, but I felt like I was making my family suffer as I'm a terrible person when I'm tired. So needed to be disciplined.
