Serves the Tories bloody well right

Makes me furious every time I think about Liz Truss, no dentists, billions spent on PPE contracts to their pals. And mealy mouthed Sunak telling us why we should vote Tory. I used to quite like him but honestly does he just not get it. Latest poll Tories to get just 64 seats. They caused this nobody else.

Did he @MissScarletInTheBallroom? Not that it ever would have mattered to him much, since he scrambled immediately to get himself an eu passport.

Honestly, his personality and personal affable style is not relevant to his politics.

I feel the same about the decimation they've left. Liz Truss has caused endless problems and much expense for the rest of us, who had to rely on the fact that she had any clue what she was doing.

I thought Liz Truss knew what she was doing when she was Environment Secretary. In retrospect she didn't do much at all, just kept a low profile. Then she became Justice Secretary and said that guard dogs could be used to deter drones from dropping drugs into prisons.

And yet she still ended up being Prime Minister.

The lettuce would have made a better PM than Truss.

The tories have destroyed public services and no doubt made plenty of money for themselves one way or another. People are suffering and have no doubt died (NHS failures, suicides, poor housing, nutrition and depression) as a resul of their cynical and self serving approach to running a country. They're despicable and their actions are evil. I hope they all have miserable lives from tomorrow, although I'm not expecting it as they're mostly rich and have their grubby fingers in lots of pies.

Also Braverman has already kicked off the fight for leadership.

Fingers crossed she loses her seat then.

Portillo would have been the frontrunner to take over from Major in '97.

Their leadership race will depend on who keeps their seat.

I'm not counting any chickens. Tory voters know it's embarrassing to vote Tory so they won't admit it to polling agencies. We have 0 conservative boards up in my area but I know that it's a traditional Tory neighbourhood.

I do think sunak couldn't give a monkeys or even has financial investments dependent on losing.

NHS failures in wales are appalling. And that is run by Labour. So I'm not holding my breath that anyone is going to sort out the county's problems.

They receive their funding from central government though, don't they?

Don't believe all the lies about Labour run Wales. It is tough here as it is in England, but we aren't all living in hovels and dying of scurvy.

If things were that bad, why would there be so few Tory seats in Wales (and potentially none by the end of tomorrow)?

I was thinking about the 90 year old relative who was told to stay laying on the hard floor for 12 hours, to wait for an ambulance, as she had potentially broken her hip. And then wasnt fed for the first 2 days in hospital because her operation kept getting delayed.

Sadly that sort of thing is happening all over the UK. I hope you relative is better?

Labour majority, Tory wipeout, Nigel crying in a corner. I can’t wait for Friday morning! 🙌

Nigel could well be leader of the opposition Shock

Please, don't be smug. This is not a foregone conclusion
Look what happened with the brexit referendum

Agree. I said the same thing to my husbamd last night. Lots of people think ita done and dusted so don't bother to vote...I know a few remainers who didn't vote because they assumed it would be a remain victory
