Natural Deodorant

I have recently moved to a natural deodorant after years of using anti perspirant. It's taken me ages to find one that doesn't use bicarb of soda as My underarms just can't tolerate it. I knew that there might be a transition period, and after 2 weeks feel like my left arm pit is starting to get there, but my right arm pit just stinks vile. Why is one armpit ok and the other not, does anyone know?

Can anyone recommend a decent bicarb free natural deodorant that works?

Please just stick with the regular anti-perspirant if that’s what works for you. Can always smell a natural deodorant user!! Very few people can get away with it.

Wild deodorant are quite good. They have a sensitive range with a mix of scents to choose from. I had a reaction after using their regular deodorants for a while but I'm fine with the sensitive range.

I have tried both Wild and Fussy. I prefer Wild.

Well I tried Wild and wasn't impressed. It was alright in winter (when I probably didn't sweat) but hopeless when the weather got warm. I'm sure all the extra washing outweighed any environmental benefits.
If your pits smell it's a combination of sweat and bacteria. You probably have different bacteria on each side.

I tried both wild and fussy and love fussy, really works for me and DDs. Wild didn’t work for me at all, seems to be one or the other works for people not both.

Tried Fussy. Complete waste of money and it is much more expensive than normal anti perspirants. When I received my initial order they emailed to say basically expect to stink for the first few weeks. Being housebound I could cope with what was supposed to be a transition period but had I still been working then I would never have risked it.
Now back on sanex and will be sticking with it.

Have you tried the natural deodorant company? I think they're only online but I found it works well for me and their 'gentle' line is bicarbonate free. It's not cheap but does last a long time.

Vico deodorant is brilliant - I just discovered it recently. Comes in a variety of scents - the Lemongrass is my favourite - and it's very effective. Also, it doesn't leave that horrible sticky residue that the spray ones do. https://vicodeo.com

I've been using Fussy for a few months now and it's amazing. No sign of smell at all and my sensitive skin hasn't been irritated either.

I've tried lots and stuck with Biosen for the last few years. Not sure how natural it is but it's not anti perspirant and no aluminium.
I like the smell. I don't perspire much anyway.
I only learnt from reading here about the first few weeks smelling bad and recognise that when moving from an anti perspirant. It's true! Why is that? Is it the blocked pores finally detoxing or something?
