Which detective series is easy to watch?

I’ve already watched Father Brown and Shakespeare and Hathaway.

I’m ill with Covid(for the 6th bloody time) getting next to no sleep and need something that requires minimal brain cells to watch because I don’t have the energy or cognitive function to watch anything with too many characters or a complex plot. I don’t want anything disturbing either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Agree with death in paradise so easy to watch, also beyond paradise isn't bad

Frankie Drake mysteries (though beware it ends on a cliffhanger)

The Brokenwood Mysteries. Brilliant stuff.

Monk is brilliant - on Netflix and very funny with some great guest stars and clever twists. I’ve only just discovered it and I am hooked!

Poirot or Marple. Easy to watch and good storylines.

Rosemary and Thyme. So gentle.

The old Miss Marples, with Joan Hickson - who was Ag. Christie’s choice for her.
IMO the newer ones were nowhere near as good.
