Which detective series is easy to watch?

I’ve already watched Father Brown and Shakespeare and Hathaway.

I’m ill with Covid(for the 6th bloody time) getting next to no sleep and need something that requires minimal brain cells to watch because I don’t have the energy or cognitive function to watch anything with too many characters or a complex plot. I don’t want anything disturbing either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

I'm quite enjoying Life on Mars, on Netflix - if you missed it first time around

The Brokenwood Mysteries. Brilliant stuff.

MeOldBamboo · 30/06/2024 18:41

Monk is brilliant - on Netflix and very funny with some great guest stars and clever twists. I’ve only just discovered it and I am hooked!

The Outlaws

Three series

The third series has just finished - it's funny but also very moving. And certainly an easy, comforting type of watch! Hope you're feeling better soon.

I loved endeavour. Comfort Sunday TV

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 30/06/2024 19:07

The old Miss Marples, with Joan Hickson - who was Ag. Christie’s choice for her.
IMO the newer ones were nowhere near as good.
