Should I make myself sick? Horrible nausea and stomach ache

Hello, I haven’t eaten a lot today but stupidly ate too much this evening pizza and a mixed bean salad and some coleslaw.

I’ve had my gallbladder out 10 years ago, I’m very very bloated I’m desperately tired and can’t sleep. My tummy hurts so much, I’ve been to the toilet 4 times now.

i do suffer from IBS so I imagine it’s the bean salad that has triggered it. I feel really sick like I want to be sick and I know I could be easily sick if I make myself sick.

any advice welcomed.

I've remembered - the last time I was unwell, the practice nurse (via phone) told me that she thought that it was Norovirus rather than my IBS.

TMI, but I was at the throwing up and ahem unable to contain my water stage. However, the worst problem at the time was definitely the stomach bloating and pain.

Mine came on very fast...Had eaten some vegetable samosas and then a tub of Greek style Yoghurt.... the pain was sharp enough for me to go ''aargh'' and to google ''Lactose intolerance?''
and ''how to ease sharp, griping wind pains''...it felt like colic.

The fact that @AirportObs 'wet' yourself a little while puking does sound very norovirus like, the force of the contractions of vomiting has caused me to also wet myself - best thing to do if Norovirus is suspected is to put head in a 10 litre bucket while sitting on the loo.

It definitely helps save cleanups as the force of norovirus pukes are so grim.

What is interesting is the last thing one ate before being sick puts one off that food for ever.
Probably a response from when we were hunter gatherers and toxic plants could have made us ill.. an evolutionary response.

My friend still cannot bear Sweetcorn Chowder - years later.
