Frozen musical in London - is it worth it?

I'm keen on seeing Frozen in the West End and I've just found out they close this Autumn.

Prices are high for the good seats so I was wondering if it was worth it for you?

I love theatre and have seen several of the touring productions, and a few West End shows too.

I live about 2.5 hours away on the train from London so I want it to be good if I'm going to go. Or is it just very overhyped?

It's really fantastic, properly magical. We went two years ago and are planning to go again before the end of the year. If you're a Disney fan then you'll love it. The theatre is also beautiful, my 5yo said they were the nicest loos she'd ever seen! 😂

Yes, tour is unlikely as the set is massive and very complicated.
Try and get the tickets on Magic Mondays if you can wait until the week to book, harder to get than it used to be as it's closing, but I got really good seats for £29.50. If you're not taking children I recommend going for an evening performance and trying to get there before the school holidays.

Simply amazing! Definitely go if you can, even if you’re not crazy about Frozen. Went with DC when first opened post Covid then again without and am taking them again this summer before it closes.

Im not sure it will tour, I heard the set was too expensive to maintain which is why it’s closing

It's the most magical thing I've ever seen. Go while you still can, you definitely won't regret it.

My DH who hates the theatre was in tears at the end & not because he had to sit through it!

If they tour it won't be a patch on it's home theatre as the staging is so involved - definitely go!!

Gorgeous! Loved it! Worth the ticket price for the dress change in Let It Go!

MercutiosFiddlestick · 02/07/2024 22:12

I’ve been twice. Everyone from age 6 to 67 loved it in our group. Definitely go (if only for the Hygge song!)

I hate musicals with an absolute passion. You name it I've hated it. I went with my daughter to Frozen and loved it. Thought it was really well done and entertaining. You could always try for the £30 Magic Mondays tickets if you aren't sure - we did that, seats were right at the front, slightly restricted view but was happy with that for the price.

Thank you, @Justploddingonandon , for posting about Magic Mondays.

I hadn’t heard of them. It seems that offer to performances throughout that week, and Lion King is also available on that offer.
